OREANDA-NEWS. Schneider Electric and RWE, two major players with substantial experience in electric mobility, have decided to join forces to provide market-leading system solutions and charging infrastructure products to the electric mobility market.

This cooperation will expand the portfolios of both companies. Schneider Electric provides extensive experience and a broad portfolio of energy hardware & software components, including systems for electric vehicle charging infrastructure. RWE brings in expertise in smart charging products for electric vehicles and especially its high-scale IT backend systems for operation, maintenance and billing for electric vehicle charging. Hence Schneider Electric and RWE will market joint offers to increase customer value, combining RWE's IT system solution and IT services and Schneider Electric's IT-connected systems. RWE will also resell Schneider Electric's hardware products to its customers.
