OREANDA-NEWS. LOTOS Serwis's qualifications have been confirmed by the certification unit of the Office of Technical Inspection.

On February 5th, a representative of the Office presented the Czechowice-Dziedzice Branch of LOTOS Serwis with a certificate authorising it to operate a UDT-CERT Welders Examination Centre for the PN-EN 287-1: 2011 standard. What do these intricate symbols mean? Generally speaking, a welder who passes such examination is authorised to modernise and repair pressure equipment under the purview of the Office of Technical Inspection.

"We are very glad that LOTOS Serwis has obtained another industry certificate," said Tomasz Trela, Head of the Czechowice-Dziedzice Branch. "This is further proof of our remarkable skills, qualifications, and professionalism in welding and evidence of the inspectors' trust. It is also a very good sign for our trading partners, which contributes to growth of our brand and market position."

LOTOS Serwis may hold examinations for its own and other welders. Specialists holding licences from the Office of Technical Inspection are highly valued on the market.
