OREANDA-NEWS. February 13, 2014. Boeing [NYSE: BA] has named Peri Widener vice president and general manager of Integrated Logistics, within its Global Services & Support business, overseeing readiness and after-delivery support for a wide variety of military platforms and systems.

She succeeds Shelley Lavender, who was promoted in December to president of Boeing Military Aircraft. Widener reports to Jim O'Neill, president of the GS&S unit of Boeing Defense, Space & Security.

"Peri is a proven leader with broad Boeing experience," O’Neill said. "She led significant revenue growth of the Rotorcraft Support business, including furthering its international expansion by building enduring relationships with customers worldwide."

Since joining Boeing in 1979, Widener has held positions in program management, government relations, marketing, public relations and business development. She will be based in St. Louis.
