OREANDA-NEWS. Vega Telecommunications Group has ranked first among Ukrainian Internet providers, according to the survey of experts carried out as part of the annual contest First Choice Trademarks. Vega, Ukrtelecom (OGO! TM) and Lucky Net earned equal points and topped the ranking.

First Choice Trademarks is a public contest engaging all Ukrainian online providers. It serves to rank credibility of trademarks and study changes in customer preferences, who actually evaluate the broadband providers together with experts and celebrities based on personal user experience.

Vega believes that the top place and expert recognition come from a solid team work of the telecom group that joined forces to create new products and expand the subscriber base. In 2013, the number of Vega's FTTx and Wi-Fi zones grew 7 times from 27 to over 200.

Last year Vega ranked fifth among 58 broadband providers against the ninth place in 2012. The company will continue to make all efforts to provide more people with broad communication opportunities by offering new hi-tech services.

First Choice Trademarks is an annual independent ranking of trademarks based on votes of customers, experts and Ukrainian celebrities. The ranking of Internet providers 2013 is available on the official website of the project.
