OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' OAO BPS-Sberbank and Lithuania's ZAO Arvi have signed memorandums with a commitment to implement investment projects in the agricultural sector.

The memorandums were signed at an extended session of the business councils for trade and economic cooperation of Belarus and Lithuania.

By signing the memorandum ZAO Arvi has expressed an interest in buying and reconstructing a protein factory in the town of Belynichi, the possible construction of a combined feed factory, farms to raise and fatten turkeys in addition to a slaughterhouse. The company plans to implement another project to raise turkeys, slaughter them and process meat in Soligorsk District. Lithuania's Modus Group intends to build a solar power plant in Myadel District while ZAO Capital City intends to build a sport, recreation, shopping, and entertainment center and convert a manufacturing base into a multifunctional facility in Minsk.
