OREANDA-NEWS.   KNPC signed a long term supply agreement of lube oil with Kuwait Petroleum International Lubricants (KPIL), the subsidiary of Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI). The agreement was signed at the meeting room of top management in which CEO Mohammad Ghazi Al-Mutairi represented KNPC, Bakheet Al-Rashedi represented KPI and Pier Paulo Fornu represented KPIL.

The ceremony of signing the agreement was attended by KNPC Deputy CEO for Financial and Administrative Affairs Ali Abdullah, Khalid Al-Mushaileh of KPI and Purchase TL at Corporate Commercial in KNPC- which carries out the agreement- Bader BuSakhar.

Al-Mutairi said the agreement is too important as it embodies the constructive cooperation amongst KPC subsidiaries, affirming that all imported materials for KNPC should meet the international criteria. On his part, Al-Rashidi said that he is glad to deal with KNPC, indicating that KPI will carry out the agreement according to KNPC requirements.

The agreement duration is 3 years worth KD 6,205 million. It covers providing the three refineries and Local Marketing Department with the required lube oil.
