OREANDA-NEWS.  Elektronaladka The company Naftogazvydobuvannya has commissioned well No. 8 in the Semyrenkivske gas condensate field in Poltava region of Ukraine. The new well can produce 170 thousand cubic metres of natural gas and five tonnes of gas condensate per day. Investments in the well sinking and infrastructure amounted to over UAH 100 million.

The new well is about 5.6 thousand metres deep. It is currently connected to the Semyrenkivske central gas processing facility (CGPF). In future, the well will be reconnected to the Olefirivka CGPF, the construction of which the company plans to complete in the first six months of 2014.

After the commissioning of well No. 8, Naftogazvydobuvannya is operating 11 wells in total. The company has increased its daily production of natural gas from 1.7 million cubic metres to 1.87 mln cubic meters and gas condensate from 62 tonnes to 67 tonnes.

"This is the first well Naftogazvydobuvannya has commissioned over the last three years", says Naftogazvydobuvannya CEO Igor Shchurov. "Now we are drilling three new wells, and from April to June we will start sinking six more. By the end of the year, we plan to complete the major workover of our operating wells".

In 2013 Naftogazvydobuvannya produced 506 million cubic metres of natural gas and this year we are going to increase output more than by half. We also plan to scale up gas condensate extraction from 20 thousand tonnes to 27 thousand tonnes. Our investment in the field development and infrastructure will exceed UAH 1.4 billion in 2014.
