OREANDA-NEWS. The first Three car diesel-multiple Unit “ДП3, made by the Poland-based PESA Bydgoszcz S, has been delivered to Belarus.

After custom clearance, the diesel multiple Unit train is now standing-by to undergo acceptance inspection and certification tests by the Belarusian Railway. After commissioning it will be brought into operation.

According to the contract with PESA Bydgoszcz SA, which was signed in 2013 by the Belarusian railway, a total of three three-car diesel-multiple units will be delivered to BCh. The remaining two trains are expected to be delivered in March-April this year.

The new rolling stock meets the modern comfort and quality requirements.

The Balarusian Railway is now working out routes that will be served by the three-car diesel trains “ДП3. Currently, 6 one-car diesel trains “ДП1, which are co-produced by the Asset management company " Belkommunmash"and Poland-based PESA Bydgoszcz SA involving the Minsk car-repair plant AG, are put into service.

All one-car diesel trains were delivered to BCh in 2011-2012 and are carrying passengers on economy and business class regional routes.
