OREANDA-NEWS. S7 Airlines and Finnair airlines, members of the oneworld(r) global aviation alliance(r), announce entering into a codeshare agreement providing for code share flights between Russia and Finland.

From the 26th of April 2014 the airline companies will perform codeshare flights to the capital of Finland - Helsinki from Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Yekaterinburg, and from Helsinki to the cities of Joensuu, Kuopio, Oulu, Rovaniemi, Tampere, Turku and Vaasa.

"From the 26th of April S7 Airlines launches its own flights to Helsinki from Moscow Domodedovo Airport. The agreement signing gives S7 Airlines passengers an additional opportunity to travel from the capital of Finland to seven destinations within the country taking the flights of our partners and purchasing one ticket", Vadim Besperstov, S7 Airlines Strategic Development Director, noted.

According to the agreement Finnair airline code will appear on S7 Airlines flights from Moscow to Novosibirsk, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Ufa and Yekaterinburg.

Finnair is the oneworld alliance partner of S7 Airlines. "S7 Priority" frequent flyer programme members can obtain miles taking flights performed by the airline and get award tickets for Finnair flights. Status programme members can use airline business lounges services.
