OREANDA-NEWS.   More than ten of the top business and telecommunications international media outlets recognized the second-generation YotaPhone as the most innovative device at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) exhibition.

The new generation of the two-screen smartphone, one of which is always on, received the top honors from prestigious media outlets such as CNN, Time, TechLand, ComputerBild, ExpertReview, LapTopMag, PC Mag, TechCentral, PocketLint, T3, Tom's Hardware, Tom's Guide, Ubergizmo, and others.

The first generation of the device is currently on sale in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Germany, France, Spain and Austria. In the next month, the company plans to expand the number of countries that sell the phone to 15, as well as to begin sales in the Middle East.

The design of the second-generation YotaPhone is more elegant and ergonomic. The device has become thinner and lighter, while its size has increased. Other improved specifications of the YotaPhone include a new 4-core Qualcomm processor, a 5-inch AMOLED-display for the main screen, and an EPD-display for the second screen, which will be entirely touch-controlled.

He also stressed that making the always-on display entirely touch-controlled has led to an even more interactive and intuitive device.

“With the second generation YotaPhone we managed to develop further the idea of innovative smartphone with two screens, making the device even more perfect,” Vladislav Martynov said.

As the YotaDevices general director emphasized, the company plans to continue improving its devices, regularly releasing products that can compete with major market players.

During the 4 days of the exhibition more than 10,000 people visited the YotaPhone booth to check out the first- and second-generation devices.
