OREANDA-NEWS. AKHANGARANCEMENT, member of EUROCEMENT Group, demonstrates steady growth of production indicators at January 2014 month end against the same period the year before. In the reporting month the enterprise manufactured 88,919 tons of clinker (cement semiproduct) and produced 116,061 tons of cement, up 54% (31,188 tons) and 76% (50,061 tons) against January 2013 respectively.

In the reporting period, AKHANGARANCEMENT shipped to its customers 115,245 tons of cement, up 71% (47,778 tons) compared to the same period last year. Specifically, the volume of bagged cement shipped grew by 57% (8,405 tons).

PPC 400 cement still enjoys the highest demand among the customers. In the first month of 2014, 56,375 tons of that cement type were dispatched, an almost 4-fold increase (of 185%) against the same period in 2013. PPC 400 cement is actively used in residential and commercial property construction, as well as in the erection of a tunnel via the Kamchik Pass, the Tashkent Region, through which it is planned to build the Angren-Pap railway to connect the capital region and the Fergana Valley.

Firebrick output in January 2014 was 162 tons, up 58 tons (55%) against the same period in 2013. The extraction of raw materials grew too. In January, the enterprise's mining shop extracted 118,130 tons of limestone, a more than 2-fold (104%) increase against last January.

In January 2014, The building materials and structures factory, a member of AKHANGARANCEMENT, produced 892 m3 of reinforced concrete structures, a 1.5-fold (142%) increase as compared with the same month last year.
