OREANDA-NEWS. March 13, 2014. As it was informed in the National Bureau of statistics, the inflation for the last 12 months from February 2003 to February 2014 amounted to 5.4%.

Inflation in January-September, 2009 amounted to 0.2%, in January-February 2013 - 1.1%, and in February 2003 to February 2013 - 4.4%. According to NBS data, in February 2014, food prices grew by 0.7%, nonfoods stuffs- by 0.7%; tariffs on services rendered to population increased by 0.2%.

According to official statistics, in February 2014 prices for potatoes increased by 7.4 per cent, grapes - by 5.4%, fresh fruits - by 3.4%, fresh and frozen fish - by 2.5%, milk and dairy products - by 2.2%. In particular, the cheese prices grew by 3.5%, sour cream - 2.4%, milk products - by 2.2%, milk - by 1.8%. Fresh vegetables prices grew by 1.9%. Carrot went up by 15.6%, onion - by 9.4%, cabbage - by 7.4%, peppers - by 2.3%.

Peasant oil went up by 1.6%. At the same time, in February 2014 fell eggs - by 11.5%, tomatoes - by 10.2%, sugar - by 3.6%, vegetable oil - by 2.9%, pork and milk products - by 1.3%, mutton - by 0.7%. As regards the non-food stuffs the increase was registered for liquefied gas cylinders - 4%, cars - by 2.1%, spring jackets for men - by 1.1%, sanitary and hygienic products - by 1%, refrigerators and freezers - by 0.9%, stoves, conditioners, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, detergents, medicines - by 0.5%.

At the same time, in February 2014 the prices fell for fur garments for men and children, jackets, coats, sports wear for women, short coats, scarves, gloves, hats for children, winter boots for men and women - from 0.1% to 0.9%.

Services rendered in February 2014 to overseas tourists grew by 4.3%, air transport services - by 3.8%, rental accommodation in a student dormitory - by 3.7%, rent - by 1.6%, footwear - by 1.4%, manufacturing of furniture - by 0.8%. Tariffs for international railway transport grew by 0.7%. At the same time, in February 2014 charges for services of kindergartens and nurseries declined by 0.4%.
