OREANDA-NEWS. GMCS, a member of MAYKOR, jointly with the Vladimir State University named after Alexander and Nikolay Stoletovs and Microsoft Russia announced about opening of the largest in the Vladimir Region competence center of ERP and CRM solutions on the base of Microsoft Dynamics AX and CRM.

The Vladimir State University is the leading educational establishment, centre of science and culture of the Vladimir region taking an active part in the country's innovation educational program. In the beginning of 2014 the Vladimir State University joined the academic program Microsoft Dynamics Academic Alliance with the support of GMCS. Today, the program participants are the largest educational institutions in the country. The University and GMCS opened a classroom, installed servers, and deployed the latest versions of Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics CRM that would provide the students opportunity to try to work with these systems.

“We are pleased to adopt the proposal of GMCS to establish such a center of competence, because the Vladimir State University aspires to expand constantly the range of solutions, technologies and services for learning, as well as the employability of students and graduates of the university. Participation in the program Microsoft Dynamics Academic Alliance gives us vast opportunities for training students to work with business solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics. Now we are cooperating very closely with GMCS, including the development of joint seminars and master-classes,” - says Denis Gradusov, Associate Professor of department “Management and informatics in technical and economic systems” and the curator of the center of the Vladimir State University.

The competence center will educate and train students to prepare highly qualified specialists in the field of products Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics CRM for a variety of business sectors. The first attendees will be fourth year students of specialty “Applied Computer Science”. In addition, cooperation between GMCS and the university involves the joint elaboration and implementation of innovative and research projects and programs aimed at the development of the information society and technology in the region and beyond.

The center is also closely linked to the global project of Microsoft - CityNext, designed to help cities to develop in conditions of rapid urbanization, modernization and austerity. Microsoft together with its partners offers more than 40,000 applications and services that enable cities to be more competitive, engage citizens more actively to manage and accelerate economic and social development. It is assumed that on the basis of the center in the Vladimir State University will be prepared specialists for projects, including CityNext.
