OREANDA-NEWS. March 14, 2014. As it was informed in the company, the current Director Louis de Sambucy, who headed the company from November 2010, will go to work in Lafarge in Algeria. Nicolas Valdinoci came to work in Lafarge in 2007 from the office of the Prime Minister of France.

For 3 years he worked in the Department of strategy of Lafarge and in 2010 he became the financial Director of division “Concrete and aggregates" in Lafarge Algeria. In 2012, he was appointed the Deputy Director of sales at Lafarge Algeria. Lafarge is located in Moldova since 1999 after it acquired Rezina cement and to the present the company has invested over 50 million euros in modernization of the plant.

In 2011 Lafarge has expanded its presence in the country, opening a new business in Chisinau and to date the company operates at cement plant in Rezina, Testing concrete center in Chisinau and railway cement terminal in Comrat. Currently the company employs 247 workers in all its representations. Lafarge is the leader at the cement market in Moldova.

Company supplies innovative and differentiated cements (CEMPLAST, CEMFORT, CEMFORTEXTRA and hydraulic binders for road infrastructure projects), as well as a wide range of solutions and services for its customers in the construction industry.
