OREANDA-NEWS. March 14, 2014. The aggregate return of three mobile network providers - Orange Moldova, Moldcell and Moldtelecomon - on the sales of the Internet dedicated access grew by MDL 29.8 million to more than MDL 259.6 million, 13% up year-on-year, the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technologies informs.

The total sale volume reported by 58 providers of data transmission and fixed internet services increased by MDL 162.6 million to MDL 877.1 million, up 22.7%. The bulk of this money – over MDL 794 million – was received from the sale of Internet services.

ARPU from the sales of the mobile and fixed Internet dedicated access was MDL 101.3 and MDL 149.7 respectively. In 2013 the shares of the three providers of mobile internet access were as follows: Оrange Moldova – 42%, Moldcell – 33.9% and Moldtelecom – 24.1%. On the market of the fixed Internet access the largest shares belonged to Moldtelecom (64.1%), Starnet (17.5%) and Orange Moldova (3.3%).
