The BUCE representatives told their counterparts about the BUCE's key advantages and its capabilities in the field of exchange trade and e-commerce. The Turkish businessmen were primarily interested in the procedure of executing transactions concluded in the metal products section since scrap metal is the main raw material used by their companies. BUCE experts provided detailed information on this issue assuring the Turkish side that as soon as the Turkish companies are accredited at the electronic platform the BUCE will take every effort to ensure that any and bids they might place will be completely satisfied irrespective of their size.

The opening of BUCE exchange warehouse in Istanbul was the second issue on the agenda of the meeting. If opened, this warehouse would provide local buyers with additional safeguards against possible violations of contractual commitments and would also allow them to receive the goods purchased on the stock exchange at a more convenient location. Foreign businessmen obtained exhaustive information about the operating principles of exchange warehouses and the benefits of this tool for all stakeholders.

Following the negotiations, the representatives of Eken Insaat and Dosamet metal decided to get accredited at the BUCE electronic platform and take part in the exchange trade for scrap metal. The foreign visitors also stressed that this is only the beginning and in future other promising areas of mutually beneficial cooperation will be explored.
