OREANDA-NEWS. According to the preliminary data, the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) international reserve totaled USD 2 625.8 million as of February 28, 2014 that is by USD 59.3 million more than the index of January 31, 2014.

The international reserve, converted in foreign currency, totals USD 2 402.9 million, including that floated as securities – USD 1 708.0 million, as well as that on the accounts of foreign banks and International Monetary Fund (IMF) – USD 694.9 million. The amount of funds placed in SDR totals USD 222.9 million, while reserve position with IMF totals USD 15.5 thousand.

NBG international reserve has dropped by USD 197.6 million since the beginning of the year.
