OREANDA-NEWS. UTair Aviation is issuing a warning to its passengers and all travelers against the purchase of online tickets from the Sunny Air travel agency (<http://www.sunny-air.biz>).

UTair Aviation has recently received messages from its clients which cast doubt on the legitimacy of ticket sales through this agency which has offered air tickets with suspiciously high discounts. An investigation has confirmed that Sunny Air is not an accredited member the Russian Transport Clearing House or BSP. UTair Airlines also affirms that it has never signed a direct contract for ticket sales with this agency.

To avoid the possibility of ticket fraud UTair recommends that passengers purchase tickets exclusively through the official UTair site www.utair.ru or from other reliable online travel agencies cooperating with the airline directly.

UTair Aviation ranks among the top three Russian airlines. In 2013 UTair Aviation aircraft transported 9,625,295 passengers and the combined UTair Group fleet transported 10,413,803 passengers. UTair Aviation operates more than 150 fixed wing aircraft and performs flights to 110 destinations in Russia and abroad. The airline maintains its central hub at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow, from which it performs more than 100 flights daily.
