ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih Announced February 2014 Production Results

OREANDA-NEWS. PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih announced its February 2014 production results.

MAIN PRODUCTION FIGURES, THOUSAND TONS

Average salary at the enterprise in February 2014 reached 5 320.1 UAH (comparing with 5 109.7 UAH in February 2013).

Average salary in February 2014 reached 9 860.9 UAH including 13 month salary payment to the employees of the plant.

Paramjit Kahlon, Chief Operating Officer, PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih: February 2014 was the best February in gone years in terms of output of all major products i.e. Hot Metal, Crude Steel and Rolled products; y-o-y basis these products were higher by 7%, 6% and 6% respectively. Hot Metal and Crude steel were higher than business plan by 17kt and 20kt respectively. In February planned repairs of following facilities were undertaken i.e. converter #6, rotary kilns #1 and #5 of Lime shop, Blooming #2. THF repair started and also Sinter Machine #2 of Sinter Plant (Metallurgical) was stopped for major capital repair (from 03.02.2014 to 3.04.2014). Overall all the process areas worked well and in coordinated manner to deliver much better than business plan.
