OREANDA-NEWS. France's SERAC S.A.S. has been chosen to supply bottling equipment for dairy products to be produced at a new baby food factory, which is currently under construction in Nesvizh (Minsk Region, Belarus).

The cost of the equipment is not disclosed. The equipment is part of the ˆ60 million project by Belarus' Biocom Technology Ltd (based in Grodno Region) to build a baby food factory in Nesvizh, a company representative told.

The baby food factory will be an export-oriented dairy company with enough capacity to process 500 tonnes of milk a day.

The factory design will be developed by ITC Engineering (Minsk Region).

The baby food factory is expected to produce ultra heat-treated milk, kefir, sour cream, cottage cheese, drinking milk with different flavours, milk cocktails.

The Nesvizh-based baby food factory will be another dairy company built by Biocom Technology Ltd. The first dairy company (to produce serum) is currently under construction in Shchuchin (Grodno Region) by Praimilk Ltd (an affiliate of Biocom Technology Ltd).
