OREANDA-NEWS. March 27, 2014. Ukraine should have unified body that deals with combating tax offenses, not bribery and collection of money from businessmen, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arsenii Yatseniuk said at the government session.

“The Financial Investigation Services should be created in the country. Tax militia should be liquidated,” Arsenii Yatseniuk stressed.

The Prime Minister also noted that the function of combating economic crimes that are not inherent to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Security Service of Ukraine shall be transferred to the Financial Investigation Services.

He addressed to members of the Government to prepare the Concept of forming of the Financial Investigation Services and relevant bills for their immediate consideration in the Parliament.

The Prime Minister also addressed to the First Deputy Prosecutor General Mykola Holomsha in order "prosecution services set the wheels in motion so that all will be brought to justice including officials who - whether today or yesterday - were related to theft of funds and to organized crime groups".
