OREANDA-NEWS. March 28, 2014. The Bank has appointed Alla Tsytovich Deputy Chair of the Management Board for Business Development, pending approval from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation in accordance with legislation

Alla Tsytovich will be responsible for overseeing the rollout of Uniastrum’s retail and SME segments. Her duties include formulating and implementing the Bank’s business strategy going forward, and improving the performance of the regional network with a view to increasing business volumes in all Uniastrum’s main areas of operation.

“I’m delighted to be joining Uniastrum, not least because of its 20-year track record of success and its substantial potential for further growth,” says Ms. Tsytovich. “My main task will be to help expand the Bank’s credit portfolio while simultaneously retaining our low risk appetite. I am confident that we can achieve this through a committed, collaborative effort.”

Alla Tsytovich’s successful career in the financial sector dates back some 18 years. Before coming to Uniastrum, she held senior management posts at leading Russian and international insurance companies and banks, including DeltaCredit, Bank of Moscow and Moscow Business World Bank.

Ms. Tsytovich graduated Moscow State University. After gaining a PhD, she undertook postdoctoral studies at Heriot-Watt University in the United Kingdom, also receiving a degree in financial institution management from the LOMA Institute, USA.
