OREANDA-NEWS. The Lipetskcement plant, part of EUROCEMENT group, produced 81,420 tons of cement according to the results of its operations in two months of 2014, which is 8.8% (6,590 tons) more than in the same period of 2013. At the same time, in February 2014, the plant produced 44,000 tons of cement, which is 5% (2,070 tons) more than in February of the previous year.

Half of the overall volume of produced cement in February 2014 consisted of the high-strength plain cement CEM I 42,5N, which is in high demand among consumers. In February 2014, the plant produced 21,230 tons of this kind of cement, surpassing the previous year's metric by 12% (2,280 tons).

The production of clinker (raw material for cement production) in February 2014 amounted to 80,000 tons, which is 3.3% more than in February 2013. On the whole, in January-February 2014, 185,500 tons of clinker were produced. This metric exceeds last year's level of production by 24% (35,830 tons).
