OREANDA-NEWS. March 31, 2014. Dmitry Patrushev, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Russian Agricultural Bank, held a working meeting with Yury Kokov, interim Head of Kabardino-Balkaria.

The parties discussed cooperation of the Bank and the Republic administration towards the support of the key economic industries of the region including long term partnership in the sphere of local agribusiness infrastructure upgrade.

Agribusiness infrastructure development and support of rural areas are among RusAg’s priorities. Thus, in 2013 RusAg provided more than RUB 2.8 billion in loans to the regional agriculture and target industries. In the framework of the State Program on Agribusiness Development, since 2008, the Bank’s branch has extended loans exceeding RUB 24.6 billion. Currently, the Bank’s share in seasonal field works financing reaches 90%.

“The Bank plans to further strengthen cooperation with Kabardino-Balkaria, Dmitry Patrushev said. - The region with the Bank’s support has already implemented a number of projects of high social and economic importance”.
