OREANDA-NEWS. Jaguar UK today announced the appointment of Jon Morgan to the Jaguar UK PR team, where he assumes the role of senior product press officer. Mr Morgan joins recent recruit Anna Jackson, who now holds the position of press officer at Jaguar UK.

Prior to joining Jaguar, Mr Morgan spent several years at Auto Express, first as a news and features writer and then as consumer editor. Reporting to Jaguar UK PR manager Dan Connell, Mr Morgan will be the first point of contact for UK media on Jaguar product matters.

Ms Jackson joins following two years' experience in the corporate PR team at Jaguar Land Rover. Her predecessor Alexina Jackson now has taken a new role within Jaguar Land Rover employee communications.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Morgan said: “I'm thrilled to be joining Jaguar at such an exciting point in the development of the company. With the recent launches of F-TYPE Coupe and XFR-S Sportbrake - and the forthcoming XE - the Jaguar brand is clearly going from strength-to-strength, and I'm eager to play a part in its future success.”

Mr Connell said: “It is my pleasure to welcome both Jon and Anna to the Jaguar UK press office. Jon will play a significant role in delivering an efficient and accurate product information service to our media colleagues, while Anna is already doing a great job in coordinating our media relations strategy. This new team is looking forward to working closely with journalists across the UK as the resurgence of the Jaguar brand continues.”

Mr Morgan and Ms Jackson will add their skills to those of the established members of the Jaguar UK PR team. Lindsey Dipple continues to successfully operate the Jaguar and Land Rover press fleet; Sarah Pelling is responsible for coordinating UK media events across both brands; and Tony O'Keeffe maintains responsibility for Jaguar heritage communications.
