OREANDA-NEWS. Kirov-Energomash (a subsidiary of the Kirov Group) has dispatched component parts for reactor units of two nuclear power plants in the Slovak Republic.

Kirov-Energomash has supplied the customer with spare parts, tools and accessories for scheduled preventive repair of the main circulation pumps of the reactor units of two Slovak nuclear power plants, Mochovce and Bohunice. The contract, valued at hundreds of thousands EUR, was concluded in October 2013 and was performed precisely on time.

The equipment produced by Kirov-Energomash will be used for scheduled preventive repair of the NPPs. The production of SPTA kits for the Slovak NPPs is part of a series of similar projects performed by Kirovsky Zavod in the past.

Kirov-Energomash supplies component parts, spare parts, tools and complex equipment to all nuclear power plants in Russia, CIS and non-CIS countries that use GCN-310 and GCN-317 main circulation pumps. The Slovak NPPs are regular partners of the St. Petersburg company. The plant's products are also used by major Russian and foreign nuclear power facilities (in Ukraine, Armenia, India and other countries).
