OREANDA-NEWS. Starting from April 2, 2014, KrasAvia airlines, the partner of NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport, is expected to add frequencies offering twice more flights on the route Gorno-Altaisk - Novosibirsk - Gorno-Altaisk.

According to the updated schedule, the airline will operate four weekly flights on a comfortable Let L-410 UVP-E20 aircraft with capacity up to 19 seats each Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Departure time from Gorno-Altaisk - 10:50 a.m., from Novosibirsk - 01:00 p.m. (local time).

NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport is the largest air hub in Russia east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The capacity of domestic terminal makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, while the international terminal capacity - up to 750 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO I and II Categories. In 2013 the passenger traffic exceeded 3.7 mln passengers and cargo traffic totalled 29.9 thousand tons of cargo and mail handled. In 2014 the airport expects to serve 4.2 mln passengers and handle over 32 thousand tons of cargo and mail.

Let L-410 UVP E-20 is an aircraft for local airlines manufactured by the aircraft building company Aircraft Industries. Crew team consists of two pilots. Payload - up to 19 passengers or equivalent of maximum 1,430 kg.
