OREANDA-NEWS. In March 2014, Vanino Bulk Carrier Terminal (ZAO Daltransugol) achieved its record level in loading coal onto vessels having handled 1,680,256 tonnes of coal in a single month.

After the March achievement, on April 1, ZAO Daltransugol employees set another work record by loading 113,000 tonnes of coal in a single day, thus improving their own mid-March indicator. By way of reminder, on March 14 to 15, Vanino Bulk Carrier Terminal loaded 110,000 tonnes of coal onto vessels.

These high achievements confirm comprehensive technological capacity of the facility to handle more than 20,000,000 tonnes of coal a year. In 2013, the seaport equipment was upgraded and thoroughly prepared for use during winter at Vanino Bulk Carrier Terminal.

Vanino Bulk Carrier Terminal is a year-round sea port with direct access to two independent railway lines, viz. Trans-Siberian Railway (Transsib) and Baikal-Amur Railway (BAM) connecting it to all points across Russia.
