OREANDA-NEWS. April 07, 2014. Tax Services have begun the process of reimbursement of VAT. This was started by Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk at meeting with industrialists, entrepreneurs and employers.

Yatsenyuk addressed to the First Deputy Minister of Incomes and Fees together with the Minister of Justice to develop an appropriate mechanism: "All we need - the consent of the enterprises that are reimbursed VAT on that to make information about them public."

"This will be the first step towards openness," the Prime Minister added.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk also stressed the need to combat corruption in the Customs and Tax Services: "I realize that for a month of the work of new Government it is difficult to combat all the corruption at middle and lower levels. It exists up to day and it is our main task - to destroy the corruption that destroys the Ukrainian business and trust in Ukraine," he said.

He appealed to members of the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (UUIE): "Do not seek ways to corruption. The less gray and black market we will have, the easier it will be work to all. We are interested in the revenues, and you are interested in getting a fair competition at your market, not protection of a particular business group," Arseniy Yatsenyuk said.
