OREANDA-NEWS.    On April 22-23, Naberezhnye Chelny will host the conference “On Introduction of Lean Production Systems in DIC Organizations” for the Military-Industrial Commission under the Government of the Russian Federation.
The conference is organized by the Military Industrial Commission under the Government of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, OJSC KAMAZ, the CCI of Naberezhnye Chelny and Zakamye Region, and ANO Institut Orgprom. Registration is only on the organizers’ invitation.

The event will be attended by the heads of the enterprises of the defense-industrial complex and the country’s leading companies, reputable experts developing production systems, the heads of federal and regional authorities. Dmitry Rogozin, Deputy Prime Minister, and Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan, plan to deliver speeches at the exit meeting of the Military-Industrial Commission.

The directors of leading Russian companies and corporations will share their successful experience in implementing lean manufacturing programs at the conference. Among them are Sergey Kogogin, Director General of KAMAZ; Sergey Obozov, Director for ROSATOM Production System Implementation; Andrey Solovey, Director General of Railwaycar-Building Works Tver; Aleksandr Subbotin, Vice President of Irkut Corporation; and others.

Authoritative Russian and international experts in lean manufacturing – Michael Vader (USA), Gert Jorgensen (UK), Mitihiro Hamano (Japan), Alexey Baranov – also plan to address the meeting.

The conference is organized to inform the directors of the companies about innovative management and leadership tools, low-investment methods of production system development, increase of labour productivity and cost reduction. Therefore, during the conference, an exhibition will be held where Russian companies will present successful projects and programs of lean manufacturing, and partners of the event will present innovative solutions for their implementation.
After the conference and the meeting, proposals will be developed to form public-private partnerships to support best practice of production system development based on lean manufacturing.
