OREANDA-NEWS. Gazprom Neft has launched a website for its Hometowns social investment programme, consolidating all current information on social projects which the company is implementing in the regions where it operates.

The ambitious Hometowns programme unites all of the social initiatives and projects of the Gazprom Neft Group in Russia's regions. The programme aims to develop the social and economic potential of these regions and introduce services to help raise the standard of living. It includes projects for urban development and developing sports infrastructure for children and adults, as well as initiatives aimed at supporting education and public healthcare among native northern minorities, and preserving their cultural heritage.

The best international practices in developing corporate and social internet projects have been drawn upon in the creation of the Hometowns website. The site's creative concept centres around a 3D guide through the company's “Hometowns”, providing intuitive navigation on many levels on the homepage and internal pages. Online resources present detailed information about the company's approaches to implementing a corporate social policy; with the help of clear visual content they illustrate key social and charitable projects.

“The company implements extensive social projects in all of the regions where it operates. This new online resource clearly demonstrates in detail the results of Gazprom Neft's social investment, which in 2013 alone totalled almost RUB 4 billion. We believe that the Hometowns website will act not only as a database of up to date information on the company's social activities, but will also become a communicative space and an effective instrument for feedback, which will allow the needs of the regions' inhabitants to be taken into the fullest consideration when putting our social projects into action”, remarked Alexander Dybal, member of the Gazprom Neft management board.
