OREANDA-NEWS. A VIM AVIA aircraft, in the classical red-and-white livery, arrived at Moscow Domodedovo Airport on April 10, 2014. The plane was met with special honors: the airline presented the new aircraft type in the air carrier's fleet, Airbus 319, to mass media.

A partner of Moscow Domodedovo Airport, VIM AVIA, is implementing the program of stage-by-stage modernization and expansion of the fleet, in connection with re-focusing on regular air transportation. So far, the airline has operated a mono-type fleet comprising the wide-body Boeing 757. Now Moscow Domodedovo Airport passengers will be able to travel with VIM AVIA by Airbus 319 that approved themselves as the world's most popular aircraft for small and medium distance airlines. Moreover, this aircraft type is fitted up with a comfortable passenger cabin, which makes flights more comfortable for travelers.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport is VIM AVIA's base airport: the history of partnership between the airport and the air carrier dates back to 2003.
