OREANDA-NEWS. April 15, 2014. Nordea bank will be adopting the payment additional confirmation service.

In order to guarantee the security of our customers` assets, Nordea monitors and checks all payments customers enter. To make sure that you have entered the payment and want to perform it, Nordea may ask you to provide additional confirmation to the payment order by telephone after you have confirmed the payment in the online bank, by sending a confirmation text message (SMS confirmation service needs to be activated in Netbank) or by calling Nordea Customer Support at +372 7101143 (client has to be identified through code card).
 
Additional confirmation is not required for all payments. Information about the need to provide additional confirmation to a payment is displayed immediately after you have confirmed the payment order in your online bank.
