OREANDA-NEWS. BUCE has joined forces with the recently founded Association of Exchange Logisticians and Brokers (ELB) to expand the range of logistic services offered to participants of exchange auctions.

In view of the instructions of the Coordinating Council for Exchange Trade and the joint decision of the majority of buyers and sellers, BUCE is gradually switching to timber trading with obligatory delivery of purchased goods by exchange shippers. Thus, during the meeting held on March 24, 2014 the participants of BUCE's timber section agreed that both - the buyer and the seller - can hire exchange shippers (on DAP or FCA terms).

Given the impending increase of the volume of timber exports and expansion of the sales geography, within last week BUCE registered a new exchange shipper ООО Transportno-ekspeditorskaya kompaniya and an exchange warehouse in Belgium NV Paletten de Backer.

It is planned to build the capacity of exchange logistics further, primarily by creating a web portal specializing in forwarding and shipping services. It will be used to recruit new shippers and forwarders and promote BUCE's logistic services.
