OREANDA-NEWS. With today's decision Hamburg Finance Court has upheld the motions filed by E.ON for provisionally refunding to E.ON the nuclear fuel tax of about €1.7 billion paid.

The decision reaffirms the serious doubts about the constitutionality of the nuclear fuel tax and its compatibility with EU law and is therefore expressly welcomed by E.ON.

This decision initially does not have any impact on E.ON's EBITDA and underlying net income.
