OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' OAO Belsolod malt producer reported a net income of Br7.056 billion (USD 709,800) in Jan-Mar 2013, to compare with a net loss of Br4.7 billion (USD 472,800) in Q1 2013, an official of Belarus' food industries concern Belgospischeprom told.

Belsolod's revenues per employee grew 28.5% on the year to reach Br83.3 million (USD 8,380).

Belsolod's malt output grew 0.8% in Q1 to 36,113 tonnes.

Malt exports grew 9% year on year to 12,582 tonnes, while export revenues reduced 6.6% to USD 6.05 million, as the export price of malt reduced from USD 530 per tonne in 2013 to USD 420 per tonne in 2014.

Belsolod reduced malt output 5% in Q1 to Br139.194 billion (USD 14.003m).

The government holds a 99.2% stake in the statutory capital.

Belsolod was established in 1989 and transformed into a joint stock company in 1996.
