OREANDA-NEWS. April 24, 2014. The Non-Profit Partnership for Competition Support published a report on “Analysis of the Key Areas of FAS Work in 2012-2013”.

In 2013, the Non-Profit Partnership surveyed the main areas of work of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) in 2012-2013 and drafted a report with conclusions and recommendations to improve the efforts of the antimonopoly authority.

The survey was based on an anonymous poll of members of the Non-Profit Partnership for Competition Support, whose work is closely related to antimonopoly enforcement, and who are familiar with the specifics of activities of Offices and with the foreign experience of antimonopoly investigations.

The survey covered 13 different areas of antimonopoly regulation and FAS work. The key aspect – “Applying the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” by FAS Russia” has 15 sub-items with substantive and procedural questions, each of which was analyzed separately and had specific evaluation criteria.
