OREANDA-NEWS. Post Modern Technology (PMT), a member of Armada Group (MICEX-RTS: ARMD), has presented MEDIAPAD application, developed specifically for the mobile part of personnel of medical and preventive treatment facilities, at the Microsoft App Summit 2014 conference held late in March.

This solution is designed to supplement a stationary workplace with a tablet computer allowing always stay in touch with the medical information system (e. g. at the patient's bedside). The application is fully integrated with MIS MEDIALOG, while API allows using it with third-party developers' systems.

A pilot project for implementation of MEDIAPAD will be launched soon at the Research Institute of Emergency Children's Surgery and Traumatology.

"The need for such an application arose a long time ago, and we are grateful to our Microsoft partners for their support in the development. The application corresponds to Medialog in terms of flexibility of setting up profiles in the modern and suitable for industrial use Windows 8 platform and is designed specifically for the touch-interface. Any health professional can get the appropriate interface for display and work with medical information. The application will be used by doctors working in inpatient departments, ambulance service, nurses - all those who are constantly on the move and in need of immediate access and work with MIS data," said Igor Ignatuschenko, Director of Client Services of PMT.

Microsoft App Summit 2014 is a cross-platform conference devoted to mobile platforms and the market of corporate and personal use applications. The conference was attended by over 500 representatives of large and medium-sized businesses, professionals in the field of software development and IT industry experts. More than 10,000 people watched the conference online.
