OREANDA-NEWS. April 28, 2014. The Cabinet said it will withdraw 172 million euros in dividends from state-owned companies this year, 73 million euros more than in 2013.

That figure could change as a year ago the government announced 131 million euros in dividends, but only collected 99 million.

Like last year, Eesti Energia and the Port of Tallinn will provide the largest sums.

The state own or co-owns 32 companies, but will only rake in dividends from 11 this year.

The following state companies will pay dividends:

1. Eesti Energia (energy) – 113.6 million euros (55 million last year)

2. Port of Tallinn – 42 million euros (25.6 million)

3. Eesti Loto (national lottery) – 6.3 million euros (4.9 million)

4. Air Navigation Services – 4.2 million euros (4.3 million)

5. Estonian Railway – 2 million euros (4.3 million)

6. Eesti Loots (port piloting company) – 2 million euros

7. EVR Cargo (rail cargo) – 1 million euros

8. Eesti Post (postal services) – 560,000 euros

9. Eesti Teed (highway maintenance) – 400,000 euros

10. Technical Center of Estonian Roads – 32,000 euros

11. Environmental Research Center – 25,000 euros
