OREANDA-NEWS. May 07, 2014. They grew MDL 682.3 million (15.3%) up as compared with the same period of 2013, the Ministry of Finance informs. The principal revenues of the state budget made up MDL 4 billion 688.5 million, 1.8% (MDL 84.5 million) less than those budgeted.

They exceeded the principal revenues reported for the same period of the past year by MDL 581 million or 14.1%. Budget-financed state institutions accumulated on their accounts receipts from special funds at an amount of MDL 198.2 million, 91.5% of the target. They grew MDL 37.5 million (23.3%) against the same period of 2013. Revenues of special funds made up MDL 88 million in January-March 2014, 96.7% of what was budgeted.

Against the same period of the past year, they increased 15.3% (MDL 11.7 million). Incomes from the projects backed by external sources were MDL 177.8 million, 38.9% of the target or down MDL 279.2 million of what was budgeted. They included external and internal grants making MDL 173.6 million and MDL 1.5 million respectively.

The grants made up a total of MDL 175.1 million. Against Q1 2013, these incomes grew MDL 52.1 million (41.4%). Moldova's state budget expenditure made up MDL 5 billion 611.8 million in Q1 2014, down 24.9% (MDL 1 billion 863.1 million) against the target. To compare, in the same period of 2013 they grew MDL 972.2 million (21%).

The deficit of the state budget of Moldova at an amount of MDL 459.9 million was covered from revenues from sales of state securities (MDL 354.2 million), external loans (MDL 269 million), sales of state property (MDL 30.5 million) and other sources.
