OREANDA-NEWS. Cathay Pacific, one of Asia's leading airlines, will once again offer direct flights from Zurich to Hong Kong from 29 March 2015. The airline, which is itself based in Asia's financial metropolis of Hong Kong, previously connected the two cities between 1988 and 2001.

Cathay Pacific will be offering direct flights to the former British crown colony on a daily basis as of 2015's summer timetable. The flights will depart from Zurich at 1.30 p.m. each day and arrive in Hong Kong at 6.45 a.m. local time on the following day. Return flights are expected to depart at 12.15 a.m. local time and land in Zurich on the same day at 6.55 a.m. Hong Kong will thus offer excellent connections to Cathay Pacific's dense route network in Asia and Oceania.

The route will be served by a Boeing B777-300ER, which has a total capacity of 275 seats

(6 First, 53 Business, 34 Premium Economy, 182 Economy Class). Cathay Pacific is a member of the Oneworld alliance and serves 190 destinations in 47 countries with its fleet of 141 aircraft.
