OREANDA-NEWS. May 20, 2014. The solemn ceremony of summing up the republican contest "The territory of Law" results was held in Kazan.

The first place among the winners in the nomination "For contribution in support of law enforcement activities" was awarded to Mirgaziyan Taziev, Head of NGDU "Almetyevneft".

The third place in the contest nomination "For contribution to the maintenance of public order with involvement of private security companies" was awarded to Yury Troshchenko, Head of CHOP "Tatneft-Okhrana", Almetyevsk. This is a private security company providing for security and order at the JSC TATNEFT's facilities.

The event was attended by Ildar Khalikov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Artem Khokhorin, Police Major General, Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minsagit Shakirov, Chairman of the Municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rafis Burganov, Minister of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, Glukhova Larisa, Minister of Justice of the Republic Tatarstan, Irek Minnakhmetov, Head of the "Tatmedia" National Agency for Press and Mass Communications, Svetlana Giniatullina, Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rafil Nugumanov, Deputy Chairman of the State Council on Law and Order of the Republic of Tatarstan, Irina Terentyeva, Deputy Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Addressing the guests and participants of the ceremony Ildar Khalikov called the "The territory of Law" one of the most important and relevant contests for the residents of Tatarstan. As the Prime Minister of Tatarstan pointed out, the contest was for the third time held under the auspices of the Government of the Republic every time involving more businesses, organizations and public associations. "And we see the specific results of these activities," Ildar Khalikov said.
The contest aims at increasing public recognition and encouragement of heads of municipalities, heads of enterprises and organizations, educational institutions and individual citizens, who have made a significant contribution to the maintenance of public order and legal education of youth.
The winners were decided on in two stages: first in the cities and regions of the Republic, and then in Kazan the best were selected from the winners of city and regional contests. There had been 193 applications submitted for participation in the contest this year and the contest commission selected 35 of them.

The winners were determined by the following criteria: the state of crime and law and order in the territory of municipality, businesses, organizations and educational institutions, participation of public organizations, voluntary groups in ensuring public order, activities and material and technical equipment of public law enforcement points, helping law enforcement bodies on logistical and social support, organization of law enforcement oriented events, assistance in prevention of child neglect and juvenile delinquency.
