OREANDA-NEWS. May 20, 2014. State order structure for specialists of technical and vocational education (TVE) will be changed in Kazakhstan. It has been announced by Deputy Prime Minister Gulshara Abdykalikova during parliamentary hearings in the Majilis on quality education.

As Deputy Prime Minister stressed, the education system should prepare the staff, who, together with theoretical learning will obtain necessary skills to adapt quickly in actual production conditions. According to her, close partnership with the business will be strengthened in technical and vocational education. Colleges will be focused on the needs of employers, training programs will be directed to the formation of certain competencies through integrated knowledge and skills.

"Conditions for the availability of technical and vocational education by changing the structure of state orders for VTE specialists will be created taking regional imbalances into account," she said.

In higher education, as Deputy Prime Minister reported, integration of educational, scientific and innovative activity is planned.

"This requires new mechanisms for public-private partnership, it is planned to improve the efficiency of universities by implementing board management system and improve the system of financing," G. Abdykalikova explained.
