OREANDA-NEWS. May 20, 2014. According to NBS, Moldova’s exports to the EU amounted to USD318.8 million and made up 55.6% of the total Moldovan exports, up 22.5% as compared with the same period of 2013.

At the same time, Moldova’s imports from the EU grew 6.9% and amounted to USD 549.1 million, making 45.1% of the total Moldovan import. In Q1 2014, the greatest volumes of goods were exported by Moldova to Romania and amounted to USD 93.6 million, up 13.3% as compared with the same period of 2013.

Then followed: Italy - USD 73.3 million (+78.2%); Germany- USD 34.4 million (+59.5%); Great Britain- USD 25.3 million (-9.5%); Poland- USD 17.1 million (-10%); France - USD 14.4 million (+18.1%); Greece- USD 13 million (-2.3%); Bulgaria - USD 10.5 million (+83.8%), Austira - \\$6.3 million 2.1 times). Moldova imported the greatest volumes of goods from Romania too. The imports accounted for USD 155.7 million (+8.4%).
