OREANDA-NEWS. A new oxygen facility with a cryogenic air-separation unit with a capacity of up to 20,000 Am3/h of oxygen is being installed at OEMK (part of Metalloinvest). All technological equipment for installation has now been delivered. The equipment supplier is the German company “Linde”, with whom an agreement for the construction of the new oxygen facility was signed by Metalloinvest in 2012.

The new facility meets OEMK's existing and future needs for air separation products. It is planned that it will be commissioned at the end of 2014. The Company's total investment in the project will amount to approximately 3 billion rubles.

Along with “Linde”, the “City institution for designing metallurgical plants” (Mosgipromez), a Russian design organisation, has been involved in the implementation of the project. The institute has also taken on the design supervision of all of the work. Part of the construction work has been completed by “Rudstroy”, a subsidiary of Metalloinvest.
