OREANDA-NEWS. May 22, 2014. The organizers are the Ministry of Economy and MIEPO and organizer of this committee approved a program of activities that will take place within Moldova Business Week, and announced the start of receiving applications for participation.

It is expected that the Investment Week will bring together representatives of the EU leadership , Austria, Bulgaria, Turkey , Moldova and other countries and international institutions (EIB , EBRD), governmental agencies, exporters and investors. Moldova Business Week opens the exporters Forum, which will bring together government representatives and 100 largest exporters of Moldova and governmental agencies.

During the forum it is planned to discuss the quality infrastructure in Moldova, the process of e-customs clearance, current and future free trade agreements.

The concept and design of the national pavilion Moldova World Expo Milano 2015 will be presented as well. On the same day the second meeting of Economic Diplomatic Club will be organized. Within Moldova Business Week on June 9 in the development regions North, Center, South, and in ATO Gagauzia Cosnita (Dubossari region) regional workshops - to attract investors in the regions of the country will be held. MIEPO on June 10 with participation of members of the Vienna Economic Forum (WEF) organizes Vienna Economic talks, where the investment priorities for the regional development, issues related to modernization of infrastructure and its impact on improving competitiveness, measures to strengthen and diversify foreign trade of Moldova will be discussed.

Within the part of the special exhibition the investment potential of industrial parks and FEZ of Moldova - an event attended by VEF head Erhard Busek will be also presented. The culminating event of the Forum will be the International Investment Conference EU-Moldova, organized on the occasion of the visit on June 12 of European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso to Chisinau. During the conference it is planned to discuss the agreement on free, deep and comprehensive trade between Moldova and the EU (DCFTA), the impact of European integration on the business and investment environment in Moldova.
