OREANDA-NEWS. Trubodetal factory (OJSC, based in Chelyabinsk, part of United Metallurgical Company, OMK CJSC) has become one of the first in Russia to receive a certificate for complying with the “Safety of Equipment During Over-pressure” technical requirements set by the Customs Union (part of the Eurasian Economic Community).

The certificate enables the company to manufacture new kinds of products: parts, assembly units for pipelines, and steam traps for steam pipes at thermal power stations (with a maximum operating pressure of up to 25.01 MPa). The certificate allows the company to supply these products to companies across Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. The certificate was issued by the All-Russian Science and Research Institute for Standardization and Certification.

“Our company is experienced in manufacturing products for thermal power energy facilities in Russia, and has been fulfilling orders from domestic thermal power stations since 2011. We are currently delivering steam traps for steam pipelines at the thermal power station in one of Russia's biggest oil and chemical complexes. Upon receiving the certificate of compliance to the technical requirements set by the Customs Union, we have expanded the geography of our product delivery zone, and have found new large partners,” said Igor Voronin, Trubodetal's Managing Director.
