OREANDA-NEWS. May 27, 2014. Russian Agricultural Bank and the Bryansk region Administration have signed a Cooperation Agreement on implementation of the State Program on Agribusiness Development and Market Regulation for Agricultural Products, Raw Materials and Foodstuffs 2013-2020.

The parties join efforts towards developing infrastructure of agrifood markets, increasing agricultural output, and living standards of rural population.

The measures contained in the Agreement are targeted at small business development, efficient use of agricultural land and support of priority agribusiness sub-sectors. Pursuant to the Agreement, RusAg provides for expansion of lending to the local agribusiness, facilitating access of agribusiness producers and consumer cooperatives to loans.

Cooperation of RusAg and the Bryansk Administration in the framework of the Agreement is aimed at mitigating risks related to financing of programs and projects, being implemented in agribusiness. The Agreement stipulates introduction of security mechanisms – guarantee and collateral (property) funds, as well as partial compensation of interest paid on loans, extended by the Bank.
