OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 1.1% on the year in January-April 2014 to 204.912 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 20.45 billion at the central bank's exchange rate), an official with Belarus' National Statistics Committee told.

Industrial output in January-April 2014 decreased 2.4% on the year to Br214.803 trillion (USD 21.44 billion).

Farm output reduced 5.4% to Br21.976 trillion (USD 2.2 billion).

Belarus' government expects the GDP to expand 3.3% in 2014.

In 2013, Belarus' GDP grew 0.9% on the year to 636.8 trillion Belarusian rubles (USD 64.781 billion). The government had planned to see the GDP grow 8.5% in 2013.
