OREANDA-NEWS. Gazpromneft Aero, the operator of Gazprom Neft's aviation fuel business, has signed new agreements to provide fuel for international flights operated by Russian carriers during the 2014 spring-summer period*. The company has begun operations at the international airport on Mauritius, increasing the number of airports where it operates to 133, and has also expanded its collaboration with aviation partners in Spain, Italy, the UAE, Turkey, Vietnam, Thailand, Portugal, India, and South Korea.

The company provides fuelling services to major Russian airlines operating abroad, including Aeroflot, Transaero, S7 Airlines, Nordwind, and I FLY, under agreements with leading aviation fuel suppliers in local markets.

“Last year, we supplied over 90,000 tonnes of fuel to Russian airlines abroad during the spring and summer months”, noted Gazpromneft Aero CEO Vladimir Yegorov. In 2014, we expect that figure to increase by 25%. By working alongside leading local fuelling companies, we can guarantee our Russian partners timely and high-quality fuel services during the peak season for passengers.”
